Itinerary Overview
Day 1 | Arusha to Tarangire
Depart early from Arusha and head to Tarangire National Park. During the dry season (June to September), Tarangire becomes a sanctuary for thousands of animals, including elephants, buffalo, giraffes, and wildebeests, who migrate to the Tarangire River in search of water. Enjoy a full day of game drives with a picnic lunch. Overnight stay at a tented camp in Tarangire.
Day 2 | Tarangire National Park
Enjoy a leisurely day with the option of a morning game drive in Tarangire or relaxing at your accommodation. Overnight stay at a lodge.
Day 3 | Tarangire to Karatu / Ngorongoro
Depart Tarangire and travel to the highlands of Karatu, with a stop at the scenic Manyara and escarpment views. Explore the vibrant local market and experience rural Tanzanian life in Karatu. In the afternoon, embark on a tour of the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site with spectacular game viewing and diverse landscapes. Overnight stay at either the crater’s rim or in Karatu.
Days 4-6 | Karatu / Ngorongoro to Serengeti
Journey to the Serengeti, Tanzania’s most famous National Park, home to over three million large mammals. Witness the awe-inspiring wildebeest migration if your timing is right, or simply enjoy the park's abundant wildlife and sweeping plains.
Day 7 | Serengeti to Kilimanjaro
On your final day, take a scenic flight over the Rift Valley before heading to Kilimanjaro International Airport.
This incredible 7-day safari offers a blend of adventure, natural beauty, and unforgettable wildlife experiences.
